From a Press Release issued by Tuned Racing:
Tuned Racing has entered Bryce Prince and Jason Aguilar in the first round of the GEICO Motorcycle Superbike Shootout at Auto Club Speedway on April 27, 2014. Both Prince and Aguilar will be racing their Tuned Racing Yamaha YZF-R6s in the Dynojet Pro Sportbike class of the series opener. Fresh off a 5 win weekend at Streets of Willow, the two young riders are excited at professional road racing’s return to Auto Club Speedway.
Team Owner Mike Pond stated, “The Superbike Shootout is the closest professional race to our Tuned Industries shop, and our homes. This is really exciting for local fans to finally be able to come out to watch the top pros race in Southern California. With the factory teams here, the level of competition will be high. Bryce has won his last 5 races locally, so he is ready to battle for the win here. Jason surprised everyone but me when he qualified on the front row at Daytona last month in his professional debut, the first time he ever rode there. He has experience at Auto Club, so he could surprise people again. The Sportbike class is extremely competitive, so we are expecting some great racing. We are looking for a good turnout of Tuned Racing fans.”
